Heard today closing the second hour of the broadcast is Bion's performance of Arnold Schoenberg's Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night), Op. 4, for string sextet with violinists Erin Keefe and Steven Rose, violists Phillip Ying and Virginia Barron and cellist David Ying. The recording was made from a concert in Packard Hall in Colorado Springs on June 9, 2013.
